Nancy, beautiful, thank you, you perfectly captured the feeling of the place. I think I remember the Veronese Holy family but will look it up. Bronzino's Medici portraits, a small annunciation by Leonardo Da Vinci, and the Botticellis kept us entranced. A little Italian boy stole my heart by insisting I play Pokemon with him while his father looked at paintings. BVF, I'm in the process of figuring out how to listen to Fatboy Slim on his website, but the video clips look great, I want to see and hear them all. Gorgeous Ophelia I hadn't seen before. That completely open dumb trust that baby animals have amazes me. What can it feel like to be learning to fly? I'm packing up for a trip to Vancouver next week. Yay! I don't think I can manage foxfires' level of poetic description, but I'll go see NB's work at the Heffel Gallery and tell you what I see.
