Thank you, BFV and ...our anonymous friend! I'm amazed how well you see the details in my much-reduced scan. Unfortunately, some is still lost to view, like the fact that the brown splotches are made of antiqued bronze powder, but it seems to be no major problem. Have you noticed how well serendipity and subliminal cues work when composing such pieces? For example (and there are a few in just this one picture) I didn't notice some of the color ties between some components until I looked at it again the next day and said, "Oh, that's why it felt right." <BR> The old letters, incidentally, are written by someone who essentially echoes the lyrics of the song. I'll have to look up U2's version of it. Thanks again for the kind words.
