I've always liked your name (Blue Velvet Faerie, I presume.) I imagine you as Arwen in her fabulous gown in The Lord of the Rings, although I know she's an elf, or as one of Joseph Cornell's ballerinas. (Johnny Mathis and Dennis Hopper from the darker side of the dream world aside.) I love Foxfire's name, too. In Japanese and I think maybe Chinese folklore, foxes are tricky spirit animals, able to transform themselves into attractive humans. When it rains in sunshine it is called "the fox's wedding" so much nicer than "the devil beating his wife," in western tradition. In Japan, there are little shrines to fox spirits, from the Shinto tradition, and often in assosiation with merchant and especially banking families as the fox is the patron deity of wealth and commerce. Is it your post or the next with the knife wielding dream assailant? Only ask and the Nick Bantock dream guardians will appear in glorious attire, gentle songs and humor at hand to defend you in your need.
