I remember reading years ago about a culture that started their day with talking about their dreams and guiding their children this way. Incidentally they had virtually no social dysfunctions. It's probably one of the most fascinating ways for an individual to get past the conditioning they have undergone and approach the habit of making life choices based on individual talents, abilities and interests. The Italians say "It would please me..." often, in place of "Give me..." If you're not living honestly with yourself, your not going to make the best contribution to your world.
