Here's the rest of the list: 9 Im fascinated by the idea of dreams occurring on the wrong night. I visualize a stack of dream scripts, neatly numbered and ordered, waiting to be filmed. A page is dropped, hurriedly put back out of place. That night the viewer sees page 97 ahead of 96. Could this surrealism go further? Could we accidentally have a dream belonging to someone else and how would we recognize it if we did? 10 If telepathic dreaming is a reality as evidence suggests, are images passed directly from one person to another or do they travel via a form of sorting house, where messages are filed and re-encrypted? 11 Can the Zen-like way in which dreams tease and toy with our intellect be merely accident and coincidence or are we being advised to seek another means of understanding? 12 Does our commitment (as a society) to a single, colluded reality, where each person is separate yet supposedly perceiving the same world, make us fearful of dreams? Is it a single waking dream we must jointly believe in, so we can maintain a lemming-like dash towards material Nirvana. Why else would we have downgraded the dreamwords significance to that of a low-grade horoscope in a daily paper? 13 Imagine sitting on the top deck of bus one sleepy morning, trying to look into the row of fogged bedroom windows as the houses stream passed. Now switch yourself to a second floor bedroom and look out at the at the breath smudged windows of the passing buses and ask yourself, Do we have dreams or dreams have us? You may recognize part of this last thought from "The Morning Star." Nick
