ya know, I think those fruitcakes eventually end up with the extra socks behind the dry (they make a great thing to stuff between the wall and the washer to keep it from rocking you see, and then well - wire hangers. What would the world be without wire hangers? I actually did an exercise in a group that was all about getting creative and the exercise was to come up with as many alternative uses to wire hangers as you could in 5 minutes. Talk about G&T! Obvisously the word was out that there was an over supply of the things (caused by the worldwide increase of people using mechanical washers and dryers instead of streams and buckets). People tend to look at the gas or electirc efficeiency questions and completely miss the small print about minimum sock consumption ratings. If they made decisions based on socks instead of the utility bill the world would be a very similar place - but just with an over capacity of socks. When socks divide, hangers multiply. Soon they will want a union of their own. WHU. (worldwide hangers unite! Is the underground sloagan floating around about pole height in most closets. But they only organize when Clean Sweep shows up. Then the WHU will become worldwide Hangers Union and they will not have to get all new coffee mugs and kitchen magnets (which are taking up the excess capacity of sock overdisapperance). And those little word magnets you can arrange into poesm are really just the excess dryier lint looking to up lelvel into the house hold applicance category. (you will be glad to hear I bought the smaller botle of algae this year.) still havent reached the point yet, have I?
