Dear Nick, Are you thinking to find a new character for your books? :) Anyway, some of the best good guy characters: Willy Wonka-not just in the book but Gene Wilder in the movie-version. Joseph Lees, from "Dreaming of Joseph Lees" Schezerade in 1001 Nights. Gandalf from "Lord of the Rings". Ronnie Camararie (Nicolas Cage) from the movie "Moonstruck"- had to throw him in, because one cannot live without his strange tirade "I lost my hand! I lost my girl! Johnny has his hand, Johnny has his girl, do you want me to take my heartbreak put it away and forget it?" Annnyways, Good luck, Arete
