I have been wondering about this for a while, and maybe someone here can give me an answer. I had never seen the word "borg" in a non-Star Trek context - or as a verb - until I read the Museum at Purgatory (Amorfe room, p.36). I had always assumed that the word was just made-up sci-fi gibberish, but is it actually a word from the real world?
