Christy, it struck me that the books that I will go back and read time and time again are not necessarily the best literature or the most inspiring. They simply are a joy to read. So here goes: Of course the original Griffen and Sabine, Skinny Legs and All, Mercer Mayer's version of East of the Sun West of the Moon, Wuthering Heights,A Winter's Tale by Mark Helpern, Pride and Predjudice, The Return of the Native, The Shell Seekers, Great Expectations and I couldn't decide between two George MacDonald's for the last- Lilith or The Princess and Curdie.
