Hi Matt, I read the lyrics to Sky Blue and Black, though I haven't heard the music. Sometimes what appeals to me is the music itself, the mood it evokes, words aside. Or else the words really have to 'strike a chord' with me. I'll listen to the JB song, but so far, I didn't get inspired by the words. I think since you like it so much and feel inspired to create mailart around it, then it's definitely meant to be for you! Seems to resonate with you. It's yours. Go for it! When I send music with art, I just put the tape in the envelope with the art. I make my own image to put on the cover of the tape. I make a collage from the lines of the song, or I just have images in the mailart that relate to the theme of the music. It's really individual. Just go ahead! Jump in there! I'm sure since you feel so drawn to the music it'll turn out great. Let us know how it goes!
