I'm new to this site while doing research for a school project. Hoping that it's not too late, I thought I'd post an (my) answer. When I first saw the phrase posted here, several answers came to mind, but the most meaningful (you may interpret "personal") for me is that with all the hurt that can be endured for/through love, each time I've fallen in love again, it's been harder to open up my heart all the way to let that person in all the way. It's also been harder each time to let myself feel like it's "for real" and to let myself fall completely in love and not hold portions of myself back so that it doesn't hurt so much when things don't work out (again!) I hope that this makes sense - if not, please write to me and I'll try to clarify further [email protected] And thank you for the wonderful books - both the stories and the artwork. Your world was opened up to me by fellow rubber stampers, and I can't tell you how thrilled I am each time I read (re-read) one of your wonderful books! Thank You sir! Leslie [email protected]
