Wow! I had no idea that such place existed! As you can most likely tell, I'm a new poster and overjoyed to discover such a wealth of creativity. I've been enjoying the Griffin and Sabine books for years, receiving them once a year at Christmas for the last 4 years from my Grandmother. Well, I finished Gryphon and didn't know what to read next (I'm not allowed to read Alexandria - that one will come next Christmas - and as tempting as it is to rush out and buy it now, I am under solemn oath that I won't cave in.) so I decided to read some of Nick's other works which is also in conjunction with my Senior Writers' Craft report on the aforementioned brilliant author/ artist. Needless to say, I was blown away! I read The Museum at Purgatory in one sitting (long LONG bus rides to ski races) and then the Venetian's Wife followed by Averse to Beasts. I am now in the middle of The Forgetting Room. Never in my 15 (relatively short) years on this planet have I ever found an author that I enjoyed more than Nick and that is saying alot considering that I was an antisocial shy child who did absolutely nothing except read right through high school. Anyways, I think I'll wrap this up now, I have a tendency to ramble alot. I just wanted to share with everyone how much I am thoroughly enjoying these books, and you can bet I'll be back. Mind the flowerpots. ~Katie "If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up space."
