I cherish a handwritten schedule of my Dad's performance venues when he was in vaudeville. Almost all of the theatres were called the Palace. Bus and train schedules. Shipping news and weather reports from old newspapers. Accounting ledgers. Packing materials. A friend bought home medicine purchased in Italy that was wrapped in pharmacy paper that looked like a Durer print. She framed it and put it in her bathroom. Old office stamps: Destroy, Original,Received, Paid, Approved. Appliance manuals. Candy wrappers, especially foreign ones.
