Hello Nick!! i finally managed to read "Alexandria" yesterday. it was well worth the wait, as expected. tho of cos, equally expected of ur work would be the phenomenon of having more questions popping up than having the previous ones answered. i'm particularly puzzled by the symbolic representation behind the merged lion and baboon, Hermes and Thoth. what is their significance in the whole scheme of events? and what did Griffin mean when he said that without Isabella, they'll all be turning and turning in.... What is her role? and i specially loved her thunder roar at the adversary. it was one heck of a girl power there. the one thing that really caught my attention was the myth that Sabine related to Matt. it was so simple and repetitive, but yet spoke depths. i can't really put it into words, but there's a faint glimpse of a truth, a mokita, perhaps. maybe it's the story which would provide the key to understanding the entire saga? i'll not say anything abt the story, for the benefit of those who haven't read the book yet. but i do hope that Morning Star will provide some sort of closure for all the niggering doubts and queries we have. once again, not only have G & S acted as navigators to our 2 young long distance lovers, but the 4 of them have opened up many of the hidden sides of my relationship with my Canadian girlfren. many aspects of Matt's and Isabella's relationship mirror that of mine and M's. there's so much to learn from ur books. thank u so much, Nick. the next thing for me to do is to get M to read Alexandria too. i'm sure she'll have the same sentiments as me. last but not least, i'll like to ask if u're coming down to Singapore anytime soon. please do consider making a trip down to our sunny tropical island. i'm your biggest fan here!!! i might even invite u over for tea, if u're not too busy.
