Pinecones. 3D spiny struture created around a dentral (probably related to dendrights and lefts) cone which relaeses new life under extreme conditions, like a forest fire. Can float if required to weather floding of nearby woodland streams. SEttles best in warm, sunny locations with plenty of sun and bluebirds. Simple seign (de) with lots of gooey resin (just like warm metled cookies just out or oven). Have been known to bounce after falling over mountainside presipieces (must sip to reclaim cookie peices lurking in bottom of glass of milk). (gulp)
