Hey Alice, a book called "House as Mirror of Self" by Clare Cooper Marcus deepened my reflections on this. A Jungian approach to uncover what people create, or unknowingly recreate in thier homes. I dreamed last night of a house. I changed rooms, from the basement studio/storage to an upper floor. The room was sparce, but to my surprise I could see the sea, and a bridge out of the window. This house was not in perfect order but, beyond the distractions of it, there was something curious. I decided to use the room for writing. I've often dreamed of houses, but it's always very internal, as if there is no world beyond. I wonder if I'll ever be on the outside of it looking in? I'm curious, what does your space say about you? And what does your home not let on yet?
