You would be surprised at how NOT a packrat I am. The compulsive tidy-upper in me will not allow it. Only special things remain, and I am far from thinking "everything" is special. I just went through a bunch of papers and ephemera and put them all in a basket for people to use so they could make a page in my altered book. Basically it is for all the people who have come to visit me, bring meals and cheer me up while I have been down. I figured it would be nice to supply them with the goods and just see what their little minds come up with. So far it has been fun to watch as the pages begin to fill the book. It's like the glue stick becomes a bow in the hand of a master violinist! The cool thing is, all the pages thus far have been made by first-timers. Sometimes those are the best.
