Actually Frances, not so odd when you think that you are dealing with light. The color of an object you see is based on the wavelengths of light reflected back (green) so the material you want to be absorbed into the wood grain would be the opposite (red). And if you believe that, I have some swampland in FL (which BTw, you just created - shame on you for not seeing the rainbow memo!) for sale. ;`D
