I think it is ironic that I haven't thought if this myself! On April fools, a friend and I went and got a bunch of those temporary tattoos and those sparkly body gems. I used the skin sequins on hardback book covers and in some altered book pages. I used the temporary tattoos to "test run" the opinion on family and friends because I was considering getting an ankle tattoo. I have a bunch left over, so I will give it a shot. I can laquer over them to eliminate the shiny edge. Well, on vacation in June, I had planned to get a henna tattoo at Epcot. I never made it because of the accident and I had to fly home to CA immediately. I found afew places that sell henna tattoos and I love the designs, that would be a great idea! I think something like that would be perfect for the handle because like Spiny said, I'd want to leave it smooth. PS I did end up getting a tattoo - I designed it myself, it's a fleur-de-lis with delicate scroll work on either side. I can't believe that I have no problem designing something that will be on my body forever, yet I am baffled as to what to put on this temporary (Lord willing) cane! Even with the brilliant idea of tattooing my cane, I'd still like for there to be some element of collage - I thought of rubber stamping, but I'm afraid the ink will feather out - not that it is neccessarily a bad thing, but I'd like at least a little control (seeing as I seemingly have no control over anything at all right now)Thanks to you and Spiny for the brilliant idea!
