Fineite element analysis of a hanging . . .err . . squash. (Actually, that's not tooooo bad. At least he/she didnt call here stupid, ugly, fat, lazy, or any of the fuly documented 546 words guaranteed to get you sleeping outside on the back porch like a hound dog howling at the moon . . . Strange, I once did this crosshatchy (fea like) drawing of this pumpkin I had kept for 6 months while it did this most amazingly beautiful slump thingie. Well preserved, it didnt decay it just sort of well . .slumpfed . .as like in The Princess Diaries". [How absolutely cool was it to see Julie Andrews slumpfing!!! Priceless!! Truly pricelss. It made the whole movie for me! Sigh. OK, so the whole wineglass and flying grape/friut thing was great too. Loved when the table cloth caught fire . . . Isnt there a peaum about trying to keep fire in a cotton table cloth somewhere? Hmmm . . . hunting for said poem, but no luck . . . did find lost in here pairadox, perplexed by here play but I think some things {call then newantces}goat in translation . . .] Where was I? Pumpkins slumpfing!! . . .Oh, there is this great quote about mammals playing. Spiny, do you know it? "In mammals, ther is a recognizable difference between the young and the old, not only anantomically, but behavorially as well, and the most conspicuous behavioral difference is the propensity and ability to play." (just read that in a book I picked up this weekend . . .lol) I agree with you about the sounds of children laughing, followed closely by them giglling, and shreiking in delight, and making those ooohhhhh!! sounds when they see their first freworks or the first time you light up the Christmas tree and those deliciosu yawns when they just wqake up and their eyelashes flutter like butterflys, and the way they smell fresh out of the bath, and the way they stare at the popcorn popper entranced by the way it works, and then once they know, the way they stare intently at it to make it go faster, and how they try jumping up and down to make things (usually you) hurry up, and how they instincitively know the exact plaintive cry of "Mommeeeehhhh!1?" or "Daaaddeeeehhhh!!? that works when you are inflicting cruel and unusual punishment when you are ignoring giving them their hearts desire - which varies from day to day and can range from a second ice cream cone to taking them one more time on the tilt-a-whirl at the local fair. Before you know it they want to borrow the keys to the car and are digging through your makeup case or wallet and the plaintive cry has turned into a shout as they fly out the door "I took a twenty and somebody from work called you and wants you to call them back. Dont wait -up --- SLAM!" I imagine if new kid out of the bath was available as a car scent, it would outsell new car smell hands down. - al (endeavorin gto keep my remining fingers out of Fredericks teeth)
