Hmm . . . perhaps it is the way the light falls across the page? A friend once shared the difference between reading-in and reading-out, but darned if I can recall what that difference was. The idea of stealing from the rich to give to the poor is a suggestive one. It counteracts all the hard work parents have done to ingrain the idea of staling is bad. Yet, there is a thyme for every seasoning, even if it means looking beneath the layers and re-stating the obvious that hides in every categorical statement. "Never Steal! Its Wrong" and then the "opps . . .well in a few cases it actually is Right and an OK thing to do". Rather like teaching grammar rules where you have to teach the basics and then slip in the exceptions when the kids are able to understand the nuances of when it is preferrable to break the rules. That is a lesson even adults have problems. For example, taxes are one way many countries re-distribute wealth in a more equal way and render into ceasar salad dressing your excess garlic and herbs is just one way of saving that. Cher the wealth another. So how do parents navigate the murky waters where land and sea (two opposites) meet? (Ever notice that reefs, shoals sandbars and other obstacles only seem to show up there and not in the open seas? Hmmm . . maybe that is why they are called open seas?) In this case, where "non re-distribution" and "re-distribution" [stealing versus returning aka stealing stolen property to return it e.g. the repo man coming to take back what the bank owns when the payments stop] both make sense as part of whole idea of justice, based not on personal POVs, but the POV of what makes sense and is best for all. The always walk a mile in the other persons mocassins . . . and doing it so much you eventually get to go barefoot because there are no more shes to wear. (mind the cobblestones though . . . oh and the gravel fowl use to line their gullets . . of is that grapht and wallets?) Anyway, the idea and administration of justice is complex. It takes time to sort out the Truth, and find the perfect solution that works for eveybody. (If yoy thin that is tough, just try extending it to every created and yet to be created thing in the universe. Makes one long for a pad of paper and a sliderule! LOL Heavens above, heavesn below - no wonder it is all done with smoke [signals] and [buddhists] mirrors! ) . . . It reminds me of the burned pathces on both sides of the freeway out in the wilderness. Sparks leap and fly and carry fire over land and sea, cinders can light tinder dried well under the sorching summer sun, and falling ashes re-distribute nutruents miles away. No wonder lightening strikes and rainstorms go together. Fire and water in a more dynamic form, that waters and only ignites what is ready to be changed back into the essential elements for future and further growth. . . . . . . Hmmm . . .I would say more, but like many other tomes, I havent read the book. Happy 4-th/5-th! al (wondering if there are any openings in the "Golden Goose" classifieds. Hmmm . . . better read the story to know more about the meta4 before rezooming them the cicrlevita.)
