I'm enjoying the way the thread is spinning and was reading my Grimm's way into High School. Falada, Falada, how could the guy be worth all the trouble, and is tending geese really such a drag? Gallows humor is alive and well in the medical field (I was a nurse). The imagery on the pop ups is very different from the collages, kind of sticks to the mind's eye, like Phillip Guston's paintings of Nixon, and the stomping boots. My daughter had the benefit of an older brother and thought the battle scenes in The Two Towers were a bit dull, at 7. We'll see how she turns out, but she's kind to the guinea pigs.
