Well, since you asked . . . Is there anything new under the sun? Well (lol) the most obvious is yeah . . .the moon. New every 28 days and at the back of everything to boot. If you doubt it, see the hidden info track on the latest Bond film . . Colonel Sun in an earlier bond book became Colonel Moon in this one and then the sun supposidly "dies" after plunging off a waterfall and reappears a year later as Gustav Graves - with a new id and English penchant. Actually, if you look at it from one perspective, the laws and abstract energies and archetypes may be the same - but new forms appear everywhere. Virus mutate into new strains - the flu out of the Orient is new enough that thye have to create a band new vaccine every year. (The danger of hanging around with pigs and dusks, I guess - no offense duckwoman!) New words appear even if they do spring from the same vowle sounds and letters centuires old. Every minute new cells based on your DNA form and take their place in your body, replacing older, obsolete ones. A lot also depends on how you account for the presence of reality versus the idea of it. If the idea is there but has not yet taken shape, do you count the shape as new when it appears? Maybe is not just a matter of new, but of wen new becomes? Thiongs get more complex when you look behind the word sun and see that is really pointing to and means a star, it is just that we personalize it to mean the star at the center of our solar system giving us light and heat and all the energy that makes life possible. So, if you ask it that way, taking into cinsideration that we are located near the outside edge of the universe and the universe is expanding, it would probably be a safe bet that there is new space being formed literally underneath our solar system. The problem of course, is deciding which direction is underneath, since it is all relative to which henisphere you reside in. - Enjoy the absolute since the realtive is so nephulous! Al
