Though I knew I'd be happy to finally see something from the new book, I had no idea I'd be so delighted with just a preview! Ah, I can hardly wait! A couple of thoughts: That Algerian collage is a perfect example of the sort of image transfer I've been trying to do for years (though to affect a style rather different from our artful dodger's), well before I saw it executed so beautifully in The Forgetting Room. Alas that I'm still looking for said technique. The other thought is this: I KNEW he'd made his own rubber stamps! Not that it wasn't obvious, and for the reason mentioned at the very end of the article, which I've also run into. I think this should be a different thread, so I'll end this ramble by reiterating my excitement at the mere taste of Urgent 2nd Class.
