Ahhhhh . . . pieces of cod. One place, along with pie crusts, where flakiness is a good thing. I have to admit I know a thing (or two) about them. Like a finely stuffed turkey, it is what is inside that counts . . to ten. Better if it can count to 100. (ok - Ill tell you the secret . . . you stuff it with pot pourri so it wafts this scented perfume subtly through the room . . . and when the ladies inquire what smells so sweetly, you can whisper, "It is my codpiece, madam." while you gently raise just the left eyebrow. Gets em every time.) So now that I have spilled the beans on codpeice making, you probably will assume that I happen to knose how to make a mighty fine codpiece . . . Some think that racing stripes are the way to go (decoration wise). But I prefer small, carefully embroidered flowers. It gives things, and rightly so establishes, an ambiance that goes beyond mere words. No blantant advertsining here - just a little eye candy to attract the birds and bees . . .if you know what I mean (please picture my left eyebrow rising gently right about now). . . . .Of course, the ones you have to watch out for are the ones with immodest displays of playful bunnies or fish. These signal trouble with a capital T right here in River City. Here endeththe lesson for today. Tomorow - Tatting For Tots (our most requested class for those who know the power of the bunny inside). - Al (p.s. - the left eyebrow, I have to freely admit, was inspired by Foxfires)
