I believe I have been oversaturated with advertising. My latest dream involved scaling a wrought-iron fence into a modern day 'secret garden'. However this particular yellow brick road was paved with boxes. Empty containers of every brand name product I've ever seen. Tide boxes, Cornflakes boxes. Hostess containers. Blue and black Oreo tins. They were neat and clean, and tightly fitted to form a winding road. On either side were towering walls of the same. Magazines were used as the mortar. Time, Elle, The New Yorker - they could all be seen squeezed between these odd commercial 'bricks'. It felt peculiar to walk on them. I expected to crush the boxes and fall through the road to somewhere unknown, but they held up beneath me..............I kept looking for Andy Warhol and the Cambell's Soup cans. At last, I realized I would be in great trouble if I were to be caught trespassing in this Garden of Advertising - so I ran back to the gate and slid beneath it to the other side.
