Wow!(Thanks to Dr. Dillamond for his authoratative and gentle perspective, thanks to Matt for perceptiveness, gallantry, and sense of humor, and thanks, Al for this great link and thoughtfully posed questions.) Amazing photos. They bring to mind Robert Maplethorpe for lusciousness, Andy Goldsworthy for magical landscape, Bill Viola and Cindy Sherman for metaphorical (metaphysical?) and expressive qualities of the human form in its environment. The photos are wonderful and unique. I need to think a while about limitiations. I love Braque's elegant cubist paintings, but I'm pretty fond of Picasso, too, who later took a more "anything goes" approach. Living in the Midwest, I may experience limitations as being forever either strongly implied, or physically tangible, and so instinctively fight them.
