Hmm - do you see MaP as people being seduced by material objects? Funny - never thought till now about it, but I see it more as showing the power of love (that of the collectors) to lift even dense material objects into the next world. Seems like you could look at it from the PoV that because the collectors loved the objects so much the objects found their way home to the people they belonged to. Like homing pigeons of the material variety, but love instead of habit reunited them. If it is a choice of people either loving material objects or having no love at all . . . having no love at all is a dangerous thing for humans in my book. Can you imagine what it would be like waiting around for what you love to show up and then nothing ever does? What if nothing ever made it through the veil? Infinite capacity and you have an empty toom? Totally depressing. But there is a flip side. If indeed there is infinite museum capacity for what you love . . and what you love and collect shows up . . . theoretically - if you loved enough . . .it seems you could bring as much of the whole world with you as wanted . . or loved . . or could afford to love . . . . . or could afford to love and collect . . .(or whatever the criteria is). Yikes. Can you imagine the size of the catalog? Does Fedex have a terminal or drop off box in Purgatory? Or would they eventually just turn the whole planet into a museum instead of shipping it all? And would that mean a job for eternity or retirement for Non? At a minimum I thin you would need a map of the MaP just to find your way around. - Al
