So aptly put, Matt. To me, the silver pen would be a metaphor for what is so important to me... which is my writing. The all consuming need to put words to paper. So, there is the silver pen... and then the Fata Morgana inscription, which as Nancy brought out is so lovely in it's meaning of illusion. I wish I weren't heading to bed so soon!!
