My pal, tall exquisite blonde with a natural Dover lockjaw accent, insists that she can play me, a short, exotic eurasian with a natural Boston accent. Well, she plays everone from Jackie-O to Frida Kahlo so she just may be right. The piece is only about 9-11 peripherally. It's more about the culture surrounding the event abstracted into the experiences of one person, moi. If I don't do it as a piece of literature it probably would be presented as something between "Love Letters" and "Swimming to Cambodia". I know, I know, that' s a stretch. Isis and Osirus figured prominently in my environment last year. So funny that you got on an ancient Egypt riff. Oddly, I like Fru.
