Philosophical dilettante, and lazy intellectual that I am, I probably will give the biography a pass but I find it interesting that The Second Coming has been referenced before, here. Perhaps it is a reaction to a cyclic resurgence of conservatism. Although, I'm more taken by the concept of the swing of Foucault's Pendulum, rather than a cycle. Physics, metaphysics, occultism, religion, philosophy - is it all defining the same thing in a basically egocentric way. A cycle suggests a time frame and perhaps these matters exists beyond time. And matter. Having at last finished Morning Star I wonder at Frolatti and his/it's ilk. Empowered by mystery, is the beast slouching toward Bethlehem declawed by something as unmagical as information?
