Then you must like Buzz Lightyear when he yells "To infinity and beyond!" But no? No vacation? And here I was thinking you were taking some time off and bicycling through the Lake District and snoozing by a nice roaring firepalce. . . What do I mean when I write "fit to a T"? It is on the surface, American slang for being well suited, as in fits "you like a glove". In other places and times it alludes to the images and ideas behind da Vincis famous sketch of the outstretched man, the upturned hilt of a sword, the T in IT which stands behind the I (or little ii as ego), the strength with which the mind is suspended, the Sphinx that speaks, the white tea of Chinese emperors . . . ad infinitem. ;-) Now arent you glad you asked?
