The Egyptian Jukebox is solved! My "little sister" (a.k.a. a dear friend who is 10-years younger than me) and I figured out where Mr. Hasp is living. We sat down yesterday before dinner and didn't believe in the answer we had discovered at 1:00 am. Then we did a little Ancient Egyptian research and confirmed that our answer was indeed correct. VERY CLEVER!!! We were so delighted and giddy that we finally went to bed about 3:00. Using a ruler helped for many pages. The name of the "Sun God" from Drawer 4 had to be researched and locating "cycloptic snake" in Drawer 10 proved to be a challenge. We solved every clue in each drawer with the exception of the math problem at the start of Drawer 6. We were still able to use the reference of the twin letters to find the clue. If only you could see our detailed pages of notes and the strips of post-it fringe that decorate the edges of our book. I do hope someone has informed Ms. Tanis Hasp as to the whereabouts of her father. Thank you for such a stimulating book! We are hoping that you have a compilation CD available. Sincerely, Sonja [email protected]
