Makes you wonder whether the calls were made collect, and just how recent an invention is the cell phone? (Maybe Non was holding out on us on this one??) And just how expensive is it these days to call the Spirit World? If Japan is 39 cents a minute, you would expect to pay a lot more for an etheric connection. My guess is that it would run you at least $1.09 per minute. AT those prices, you would expect they would be up to date on all the latest holistic cures like bladderwrack and such. Hmmm. This just occurred to me . . . do modern shaman still make house calls these days? And if so, do they already have your number or do you have to do the old fashioned thing and give it to them?
