I spent last week taking (bookbinding) classes through the Arts Continuum in Cleveland, but also included Nicks lecture class...if you get the chance to hear him speak, I recommend it...he has a great willingness to share his technique, and his thoughts about art and craft, and it even translates well into advice on life, too: Develop your instincts, then trust them is the extremely edited-down version. It was a wonderful end to a truly wonderful week. I'll also put in a plug for the AC: what seems to have started out as stamping and crafts classes now attracts some extraordinary artists as teachers in many areas...it will be back next year, if you are interested. (Aside to Nick: hope your trip home wasnt too draining...but Houston is lovely this time of year, no?...)
