Ahhhhh. Each Bantock book I reread is my favorite. Tonight it was Museum at Purgatory. But I also really, really love the Forgetting Room. Hell, I love 'em all. And as an artist, I find all of his work incredibly inspiring. Whenever I feel "stuck," I just go through a book of his and feel ready to create again. Sometimes I absorb an entire book, and other times one artwork or image will rejuvenate me. Artful Dodger was great to read and understand. I found it to be so helpful, to hear his ideas on growth as an artist (Side note - if anyone's an Edward Gorey fan, read the biography/collection, Ascending Peculiarity, it had the same effect on me). Morning stars to everyone... And lots of Pearl-Ex powder!!!
