I just recieved the Venetian's Wife as a birthday present, and I am facinated by Mr. Bantock's use of Hindu symbols in his artwork. There is something wonderfully seductive about Shiva and Parvati that I had never really noticed before. Also, I wonder what the writing is behind the Ganesha painting? Any ideas? And the final question, there is a passage where Lorac is telling Sara why he chose India as a source of inspiration, is that why Mr. Bantock chose it as well? Id any one has any ideas or comments in responce, please feel free to let me know.
