There is this guy. Offered the opportunity of a lifetime to chart (in art) the life of a person who will be most famous for doing something good. Unscrupulous "folks", want to justify persecution of this individual (also a way to give the elite the chance to be "better then" this person). Really it is a way to get the ball rolling on this person being reviled. Get a guy who wants wealth and power and fame, to glorify inquisition in art. To make it seem "trendy", not so cruel, not so brutal. After all, if you took pictures/photos/3D "movies" of this person in pain, you would be the villains of the century, but if you could somehow make it seem like "art", then it might be accepted by the trendy folks as something acceptable to do. Giving tacit "permission" to the rest of the masses to portray this person not as a regular human being something extraordinary happened to, but as a pure object. Like all the trends towards 'REAL TV". THERE IS NOTHING "REAL" ABOUT IT, WOULDN'T YOU AGREE? OBJECTIFICATION IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. "I don't like your face", for example. Let me wipe it out. Would you want your daughter in the middle of this stoning circle, and some freak artists, portraying her body as she is outnumbered 1,000s to one, like a hamster in a cage? ? no? I didn't think so. Inquisition, portrayed as "art" is a very sick thing. A big body draped over the world, is just permission to turn a human being into some bloated grotesque object for the world to deride, "desensitized" to. Really, it is merely to wipe out this other image, this pure, beautiful, heart-stopping understanding about what human beings truly are, what they are really worth. Why am I on a rampage? Well, forgive me, but some "art" these days is merely inquisition in disguise, wouldn't you agree? I painted that scenario because it is going on all around us, the new inquisition, where human beings are turned into "objects" and this makes it "okay". In the end, I believe this attitude is the root of the holocaust and the root of all suffering. After all, if you are merely an object for me to do things to, to draft in certain angles of light, maybe I can forget the light of your spirit, lighting up a room, right? My hands won't shake, as I contribute to the very antithesis of everything that God represents? "you are not objects to be erased, mutilated, destroyed, raped, degraded, rolled in the mud of life". You are this beautiful eternal undying spirit, who doesn't deserve to be objectified no matter how tempting it is. Do your senses rule you? Or do you rule your senses? Civilization and humanity asks that we not kill the bum because he stinks next to us in line, and when he smiles at us, we understand, that could be me, right? There is a disturbing future forming here, deliberately, on the pages everywhere you go. On the internet. Everywhere. Forget your humanity, and pick up your stone and throw it. I'm sorry, but it is never justifiable. Even to make money, wouldn't you agree? People might lose themselves in those canvases, never to emerge, like a black hole, that, though filled with dollar bills and brush strokess, begins to eat the human being alive. and in the end, like lead, it hold a human being down from truly rising above the fray, wouldn't you agree? The man in the ditch, today, covered in mud and crap, you could paint him in his fetal position, or the ridiculousness of him, or emphasize any strange feature, but then, he is the only man who could pull you out of your ditch. and he won't have paint brushes, and ask that he be allowed to first portray you as a giant weasel.
