Dear Nick, a few months before the Museum at Purgatory was to appear in the shops, a friend of mine and me had the idea (or rekindled the idea, since we had been playing with it for a long time) to make a book about a fictional museum/exposition/archeological excavation. It was to have pictures of artifacts in it, floorplans, scraps of documents - the works. We were all hyped up and ready to go and make it. Then the Museum at Purgatory hit the shops. We were gobsmacked ... devastated ... you stole our thunder! :) We were however very happy that you did; the Museum at Purgatory is a great, inspirational book, that we both love to bits! with kindest regards, Misja & Luka
