This does not pertain to Nick Bantocks work I know (guilty grimace), but Ive been searching this big, fruitless web for pen pals and coming up with nothing, nothing, nothing. Ive never visited this message board before and am quite impressed with how intelligent and articulate you all seem to be (you know, capital letters and punctuation&surprisingly something my past correspondences have failed to recognize). Might I dare to hope that any of you would be willing to be my word document buddies? To type with me, back and forth and back again, actual, interesting, real, true email-type thingies, all for the sake of our itchy fingers and itchier brains? Oh please say you will, please, please, please. We could talk about books, art, whatever (the meaning of life and all that rot). It doesnt matter so long as they are words on paper strung together in some comprehensible way, spelt correctly, and not too lewd. Oh, and no sociopaths please, though lunatics of all other sorts are welcome (a little psychosis can be a real hoot). Thank you all; please send applications to [email protected] along with a detailed essay (one hundred words or less) on the relationship between photosynthesis and the invention of the magic 8 ball, and how it affected oppressive dictatorships.
