I am so amazed that I found this site. What luck. I just finished reading Alexandria and once again I was swept away to strange and beautiful places. I buy books for a small library so I don't often collect books at home, but the Griffin & Sabine series has been and is one of my most treasured possesions. Thank you Nick, for continuing to write them. My oldest son, recently left Cairo to go to Baku. He wrote often of the pyramids and the beauty and wonder of Cairo. Have you been to Egypt? When I have some time I will peruse these archives. Hello to all that share a love and admiration for Nick Bantock's work. He is a treasure, eh? Nick, do you ever come to Maine? I am hooked into the Maine Library Association and I'm sure we could arrange something. Happy Chanukah, and that other holiday, also. Best wishes, Joyce
