Hello Nick, I am sorry to say that I missed you the times you have been in California. I was busy every single time you were out this way. However, I thought I'd take advantage of this forum to contact you. I'm writing this posting mostly to say thank you for being a role model to me and a source of inspiration. A very good friend of mine introduced me to Griffin & Sabine seven years ago, and I think I have bought and read everything you have created since then. I consider you to be one of my favorite authors and artists. I myself am a graphic designer, but a very big part of me is an artist as well. Anyway, after reading the Artful Dodger, I decided it was time to try and strike out with my own personal project. For as long as I followed your career, I've worked on this project, and I'm happy to say that I'm at a point where I'm ready to take a risk and put it out there. The title of my project is CONCEPTICONS. Another very good friend of mine, who is an excellent Flash designer helped me put together a website that showcases my designs. The site is 99% done. I still have to finish my merchandise section, and I'm still waiting on a book that I'm self publishing, but the site itself is intact and ready to go. Which brings me to the other reason for this posting, it would do me a great honor if you could check it out when you have a free moment and let me know what you think. I'd like to think you would enjoy it (at least I hope you will), and I encourage everyone else who participates in this chat room to express their opinions as well. Well, I guess that's it. Gracias por todo, sinceremente, Frank Varela P.S. The URL is: www.concepticons.net
