Merhaba Mr.Bantock, The phrase, "The courage to love" could mean a few things... Maybe one could say that love is like what Nicolas Cage in City of Angels said--'you just choose to fall" Like jumping off a building you know you shouldn't survive from, but you know that choice will open infinite possibilities- like becoming human.. I would call your question "courage to live" instead. I'm going to try to elevate all of mankind in a single sentence. Maybe by chosing To Live we chose To Love simultaneaously- as mankind by it's nature was made to love just like breathing. OR on a more contrary note, heh,heh,heh... Maybe we could say (and I have a political agenda here...)I love the underdog. I love the one everyone else finds to be the "bad guy". The people and things no else has been taught to love. Maybe I even love Grendel (if I could find a way to kiss him through all that fur). Maybe when my government tells me to fight the bad guys and who and what they are--Maybe I can choose to learn about my enemy and maybe understand them and---maybe, the biggest maybe of all-- maybe learn to love them.
