It occurs to me that more and more people in our society would rather live alone...have no one touch their things, be uninvolved with anyone else's illnesses...would rather not go to funerals. This is the way a person lives her/his life in a cowardly way. An inhuman way. It is more courageous to love, to accept a level of chaos in one's life...as in raising children, allowing your mate to cook and mess up your kitchen...accept the fact that she/he will get sick...will die some day.
